Emily is sick again with the flu. How could she be lucky enough to get it twice in less than six weeks? Hopefully that means she'll be flu-free next year. She seems to be doing well minus the whole flu bug. What a way to spend Spring Break, huh?
I've also been doing alot of thinking about the pros and cons of city vs. country living since my short list of possibilities seems to have a few of both. I feel much like the post from my uncle a few months ago...You can read it here.. As of right now, it looks like it will be Shreveport/Bossier City, mainly for the reason of location. The others on the list will still be there as they are permanent jobs and people in this career field are forever shuffling jobs with each other. Because this career field is relatively small, it is like Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon (just google it if you don't know) Thanks to Facebook, I have started reconnecting with some of the people I went to high school that are still in the area, so it won't be like completely starting over if I took a job in Colorado or Florida. Another good thing about the jobs I am considering in S/BC are regular 'day jobs'. It has been so long since I wasn't stuck in the 24/7 loop, that it will be a nice change to be 'normal'.
We'll see what the future holds, but that is the current direction I'm going...
